need Mac version
!! Moved to: https://community.software.sil.org/t/need-mac-version/10793/2 I've been asked to setup the backend of a dictionary database that about ten people will be entering data into. FieldWorks Lite seems a good option, but the person asking (at least) is a Mac user.

Thanks for reaching out Valerie. We'd love to have a Mac version. Unfortunately, both Mac and iOS versions are currently quite low priority for us for two reason: They're (1) presumably not very important for our main target audience (non-linguists in the developing-world) and (2) would slow down our progress long-term due to extra maintenance. So, work in this area is on the shelf for the foreseeable future.
